Payment of Money

Each year your school council determines the amount to ask parents to contribute towards the education of their child/ren at our school.  School council works hard to ensure that our parents contributions are kept to a minimum.   The school council has an optional excursion levy across the school to enable parents to prepay for the year's excursions and visitors into the school. This will greatly reduce the amount of office time spent in collecting and recording money during the year.

Excursions are included with the initial payment at the commencement of each school year.

Please note - the excursion levy does not cover school camps, some sporting activities including Interschool Sports at Year 6 level and special activities where only limited students participate.

* Payments for camps, sport, excursions and other attractions must be sent to school in the specially printed envelope that will be provided with each notice.
* To ensure accurate recording, it is most important that the envelope is correctly completed as this information will be used to record your payment in the computer.
* Please send only correct money to school for excursions and other activities as we are unable to give change.

Voluntary Contributions

The School Council has set a voluntary contribution per student to contribute towards the cost of areas of expenditure outlined in the financial statement. All fees and levies are voluntary and if for some reason they are not paid, your children will not be denied the use of any materials acquired by these funds.

Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF)

Every Victorian child should have access to the world of learning opportunities that exist beyond the classroom. The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps ensure that no student will miss out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, educational and fun activities. It is part of making Victoria the Education State and the Government’s commitment to breaking the link between a student’s background and their outcomes.

School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors, excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works and sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are part of a healthy curriculum.

CSEF will be provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

The annual CSEF amount per student is $125 for primary school students and $225 for secondary school students.

Forms can also be downloaded from the link provided  or copies are available from the school office.

Upon successful validation of your application, payments will be received into the school  and will be held in credit against the name of each eligible child.  The credit will be used to offset the cost of exc ursions, camps and sporting activities that the eligible child will participate in.

The CSEF system only allows one application per student. Parents in shared custody situations are encouraged to make decisions as to who applies for the CSEF. Schools should not be put into the position of arbitrating in decisions such as this.
