The school library is the focal point of information and literature in the school and plays a vital role in supporting the curriculum.
All students have a 50 minute library session each week. Children have the opportunity to choose and explore reading material for their personal leisure or to support their classroom learning.
The Library aims to encourage and inspire our students to develop a love of reading and to engage in life long learning. Our library promotes a reading culture and a positive attitude to reading and encourages all students to participate in the Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge and Children's Book Week. New material is constantly added and updated.
The Library is open before and after school each Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This allows students to exchange their books or to read outside their scheduled class time. Parents/grandparents are encouraged to come along before or after school too.
