Uniform

It is compulsory for all children to wear school uniform each day. Our school colours are navy blue and gold.

Students attending excursions/activities are required to be in full school uniform, this includes a Thomas Mitchell broad brimmed hat or slouch hat during terms 1 and 4.

COATS, WARM JACKETS and GUMBOOTS WINTER (NOT SCHOOL COLOURS)

These may be worn to and from school and outside at lunch and recess times. They should NOT be worn in class.

JEWELLERY
Jewellery for religious purposes, stud earrings, sleepers and watches (non-communication) are the only acceptable items.

HAIR
Natural hair colours and hair styles
NAILS/COSMETICS
Other than clear nail polish, cosmetics may not be worn at school.

Ordering School Uniform from State Schools' Relief

Our school uniform is available to purchase from State Schools’ Relief.

There are three ways to purchase uniform:

1. Online ordering – this is placed using the QKR app (the same app we use for the school canteen). Your online order will be processed within 24 hours and then delivered to Thomas Mitchell PS within 3 – 4 business days. Your order will be given to your child to bring home, alternatively you can collect it from the office.

HOW TO PURCHASE UNIFORM USING THE QKR APP

2. You can visit their uniform shop at 1/8 Johnston Court, Dandenong South for in store shopping, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

3. Place an order through QKR and select the click and collect option, ready for collection from the uniform shop in Dandenong South

Once open, the QKR app will display the range and price of items available for purchase. Simply make your choice and follow the prompts.

All goods can be returned, exchanged or refunded within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unworn/unused/unwashed and in original condition with the original packaging and/or box for shoe purchases.
